    School is almost over and it’s time for BIG CHURCH PARTY! Enjoy burgers and hot dogs with all the fixings, chips and drinks. Don’t forget the ice cream!

    We will enjoy this wonderful meal on the back lawn of First Baptist. Bring your chairs or blankets and get ready to have some good ol’ fun!

    The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course is designed to provide businesses, schools, and other groups with a strategy and guidance for surviving an active shooter event. 

    Please join FBC-Gray, Elam, Haddock and Bradley as we learn how to protect our families in these turbulent time.

    The training will be conducted by the Jones County Sheriff’s Deputies in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church.

  • YAH - Ga Infantry Museum

    Celebrate 250 years of America with a visit to the Georgia Infantry Museum!

    The museum boasts over 70,000 items to see, movies to watch and a WWII replica "Company Town" to explore.

    We’ll start with lunch at some wonderful mom and pop restaurant in the Columbus area and then proceed to the Georgia Infantry Museum.  We’ll peruse their collection and walk the "Company Town and then head home some time around 2 pm.

  • YAH - Tour of Monticello

    DescriBreathtaking mostly because after we walk a minute, we’ll all be out of breath.

    We’ll start our tour at Martha Jane’s Southern Food.  Word on the street is the food is ’slap yo’ mama’ good! 

    And then we’ll poke around town. We’ll create an itinerary of places to check out.  Then after a little bit, we’ll head home to our easy chairs!ption goes here
